How do I open a personal account?

You can open an account online by clicking the "Open Account" button, or visit any of our branches with valid ID and proof of address. The process takes less than 10 minutes. You'll need to provide basic personal information, choose your account type, and make an initial deposit if required.

Is there a minimum balance requirement?

Our personal checking accounts have no minimum balance requirements. Savings accounts require a $25 minimum opening deposit, but no ongoing minimum balance fees. High-yield savings accounts require a $100 minimum balance to earn the advertised APY.

How do I access mobile banking?

Download our mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store by searching "Movement Bank". Login with your online banking credentials to get started. The app allows you to check balances, transfer funds, deposit checks, pay bills, and locate ATMs.

Are my deposits insured?

Yes, all deposits are FDIC insured up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, for each account ownership category. This means your money is protected by the full faith and credit of the United States government.

What fees are associated with personal accounts?

Our personal checking and savings accounts have no monthly maintenance fees. Some services may have minimal fees, such as overdraft fees ($35), stop payment fees ($30), and wire transfer fees ($25 domestic, $45 international). All fees are disclosed during account opening and in our fee schedule.
